HISTORY:
The New Paris Lions Club was organized December 15, 1954 with 22 Charter Members. Sponsors were the Lions Clubs of Warsaw and Syracuse. Club meetings are held the 1st and 3rd Mondays of each month, except during July & August, when no meetings are held.
COMMUNITY BENEFITS:
  • The New Paris Lions Club operates the concession stand at Hoover Field as a service to the community. Profits from this activity help support the New Paris Little League, help keep playground equipment and ball diamonds in repair.
  • Hosts annual Halloween Party, Santa's Visit and Easter Egg Hunt.
  • Furnish Eye exams and eyeglasses for school children in need.
  • Help individuals or families with special needs or special circumstances.
  • Collect Eye glasses for cataloging and distribution in Central America.
  • Monies raised from fund raisers benefit programs such as Leader Dogs for the Blind, I.U. Medical Center Cancer Control Unit in Indianapolis, along with the Indiana Lions Eye Bank, Diabetes research, Hearing Aid Loaner Bank, and LCIF.
